To The Healing Education Collective
For over ten years, I walked into Bay Area schools carrying one belief: educators deserve the same care they give their students every day. So I stayed, and I listened, and I kept coming back.
When I started my consulting practice, the work was built around relationships and connection with healing always at the center. Engagements became lasting relationships. Relationships became shared practice. School by school, a community formed, and I began to see how much further this work could reach if it belonged to more than one person.
Some things are too important to rest on one set of shoulders. A consulting practice ends when one person steps away, but this work is bigger than any one of us. So we gave this community a home built to last, and became a nonprofit for three reasons: longevity beyond one founder, philanthropic funding that lowers the cost for schools, and a structure that puts the community at the center of the work.
